Perform all necessary warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, storage of goods, and inventory management. Perform all duties with the highest level of customer service, professionalism, safety, attention to detail, and integrity.
  • Checks in and out installers, service technicians, and masons
    • Locates materials and verifies supplies according to the WAVE Staging Report
    • Runs dead/excess report and confirms product which may be assigned to current work
    • Issues materials and supplies to installers according to the WAVE Staging Report
    • Verifies returns from previous day’s work utilizing the Truck Reconciliation Report, signs the report and submits to the Branch Manager, Division Field Operations Supervisor or appropriate member as validation that the report has been verified, notes any damaged material coming back from field
  • Unloads delivery trucks and unpacks deliveries
  • Pulls product and assists loading of product for Will Call customers
  • Verifies accuracy of bill of lading, notes any damage, and informs purchasing of any discrepancies.
  • Completes the receiving of all products and materials, and transfers into P21
  • Stages all products and materials for all installs scheduled for the next day and determines which products and materials can be recycled by running the Recycle Report and exporting to the iPad
  • Orders installation supplies
  • Backs up Warehouse Manager/DFOS when necessary
  • Operates forklift and other warehouse equipment when needed
  • Provides general maintenance of forklift and sets up forklift repairs with vendor
  • Returns unused product and materials to the appropriate area/rack of the warehouse, in some branches, completes inventory adjustments
  • Runs Back Order Report daily, verifies due dates of back ordered product and updates in P21, provided Back Order Report to Branch Manager for rescheduling purposes
  • Ships Return Material Authorization product to Regional Distribution Center, as required
  • Organizes and maintains warehouse and common areas in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Coordinates dumpster pulls with vendor
  • Maintains and cleans wet saw
  • Cuts stone, marble, granite and/or slate for next day installs according to specifications and stages all facing materials for the installers (In many branches the subcontractor facing installers cut the stone, marble, granite, or slate)
  • Participates in branch inventory
  • Maintains highest level of inventory accuracy and warehouse safety, assists the Safety Champion with the monthly A6 audit
  • Assists with/completes building maintenance, such as changing light bulbs or shoveling snow
  • Performs all duties in professional and courteous manner
  • Completes all other duties as assigned by management

    Required Qualifications

    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient computer skills, including data entry, use Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Willingness to learn
    • Forklift Certification
    • Able to interact effectively and professionally with all types of people

    Education & Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent and two years’ work experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving environment.

    Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

    Able to lift 50 to 125 pounds
